Where did the summer go? It’s time to dust off your annual Back to School shopping list and get shopping!

 

Back to School shopping can be overwhelming, especially when your child is getting older and needs different supplies than previous years. There are a lot of stores that are currently having sales to make your Back-to-School shopping experience seamless and affordable.

First thing you should look for are advertisements that usually get mailed or e-mailed. Stores like Target, Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, JC Penny and Nordstrom send catalogs in the mail advertising their Back-to-School sales. Take advantage of these advertisements and figure out which coupons you want to use. It is best to shop for clothes, shoes and bags during these sales.

Not only do clothing stores send out coupons, but grocery stores do as well. Check your weekly deals from your local grocery store and see if they are having sales on lunch box snacks and meals. Shopping at your local grocery store during their sale is a great opportunity to stock up for the first month.

 

Want to avoid the store crowds? Online shopping maybe your best bet. Before completing any online purchase, always remember to search for coupon codes; you never know what deals you could qualify for! Websites that are popular for this are retailmenot.com and couponcodes.com.

If you cannot find any useful coupon codes while shopping at big retail stores online, try shopping on eBay and Amazon. Amazon is a very convenient website to shop at. You can utilize their fast shipping and great deals. eBay is a great place to shop for great deals as well. Look for items that were from last season and see if you can get a good deal.

Not into retail stores and online shopping? Why not visit your local Thrift Store and local Yard Sales? You never know what items you will see there. Thrift store shopping is a fun way to shop and a great way to save extra money.
