Alex Brands® and Money Masters, Inc. Partner to Promote Financial Literacy for Children

 

Melville, NY, June 2017: Money Masters, Inc. has partnered with toy company Alex Brands® and developed a 16-page financial literacy booklet for distribution with a new financial literacy toy collection called Brainy Bucks™. The toy company is launching Brainy Bucks as a replacement of their previous toy brand, Zillionz™.

Money Masters, Inc. was contacted by Alex Brands to write a financial literacy booklet, which will be included in Alex Brands’ new packaging. The Money Masters™ booklets contain engaging financial content consisting of money advice, the history of money, fun activities, an allowance chart, and more for both kids and parents.

Karen Tenenbaum, cofounder of Money Masters, Inc. states, “I’m excited to bring a financial education component to Alex Brands new product line. Melville, NY, May 2017: Money Masters, Inc. released a new website for Walter the Vault with eye-catching graphics, catchy songs and fun activities. The new website, http://www.walterthevault.com, combines fun with financial literacy.

Walter the Vault is an animated character who teaches children about money and finance in an engaging way through songs, poems, activities, coloring pages, puzzles and games. Parents can learn about financial literacy and how to incorporate these tips to teach their little ones to save, invest, donate and spend wisely. Co-founder, Karen Tenenbaum says, “I have seen people in financial distress and I realized we have to teach children about money so the next generation can make wise financial decisions. The key is to start young and make it fun.”

Tax Limits for 2017

Every year, the IRS announces income limits for the next calendar year. The changes are very minor and may only affect the income limits in 2017. The total amount you can contribute to either a Roth IRA or a Traditional IRA will remain the same at $5,500. People over 50 years old can contribute an additional $1,000 which totals to $6,500.
